SEC and governance reforms

As seen on SEC’s official Facebook – 𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairperson Francis Lim highlighted governance reforms aimed at strengthening investor confidence and supporting the market’s 2026 bull case during the BusinessWorld Insights forum, “The Bull Case for 2026: Value, Yield, and the Governance Dividend,” held on 23 February 2026.

“As we move through 2026, the test is not whether markets can rally on good days. The test is whether confidence holds when conditions turn. At the SEC, our mandate is clear: make the capital market easier to access, easier to comply with, and easier to trust,” Chairperson Lim stated.
