Posted on SEC’s official Facebook Page – Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairperson and Anti-Money Laundering Council member Francis Lim led the Philippine delegation at the Asia/Pacific Group (APG) on Money Laundering Annual Meeting, held from July 27 to 31 in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam.
During the meeting, Chairperson Lim participated in discussions on lessons from the International Cooperation Review Group process, and the recently concluded APG mutual evaluations in the Global 5th Round. He also engaged with counterparts on the sidelines regarding matters of mutual interest.
The SEC remains committed to supporting the countryโs whole-of-government preparations for the upcoming APG mutual evaluation, and strengthening beneficial ownership transparency, regional cooperation, and the effective supervision of anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, and counter-proliferation financing activities.
