The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) called on business leaders to help raise the country’s “trust premium”
As seen on SEC’s official FB – The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) called on business leaders to help raise the country’s “trust premium” by backing reforms that streamline compliance and increase predictability. Chairperson Francis Lim championed the reduction of unnecessary friction in regulatory processes while maintaining sharp enforcement against fraud and misconduct.
Addressing the Rotary Club of Makati (RCM) luncheon on Feb. 24 at the Manila Polo Club, Chair Lim presented his strategy for “Strengthening Investor Confidence in the Philippine Financial Sector.” Chartered in 1966 and currently celebrating its 60th year, RCM is the first Rotary club in Makati and remains a premier assembly of industry captains, professionals, and civic leaders committed to service.
