We counsel clients on land and other real estate rights, acquisition, and development. Particularly in the Philippines where foreign ownership is restricted, we ensure that clients and investors will be sufficiently protected — whether the transaction involves a simple purchase of one or several parcels of land, to more complex real estate development projects such as condominium development. We handle issues on nationality restrictions pertaining to ownership and land/property titling and provide the proper legal structure for investor protection.
We also conduct due diligence on land titles and land ownership, as well as make representations before the primary government agencies having jurisdiction — 1) the Land Registration Authority; and 2) Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board.
