As seen on SEC’s Official Facebook- The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) welcomed the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (AmCham) during an Executive Doorknock Courtesy Visit held on July 2, 2026, providing a venue for discussions on tax administration, regulatory efficiency, and current policy developments.
Led by Deputy Commissioner Atty. Larry M. Barcelo, the BIR delegation engaged with AmCham member companies in a dialogue on recent tax issuances, administrative reforms, and emerging international tax developments, including the Global Minimum Tax. The discussions also highlighted the importance of continuous stakeholder engagement in promoting transparency, regulatory certainty, and an investment-friendly business environment.
